Team United Kingdom Post-CC Changes

As our campaign in the Country Championship comes to a close, in some very unfortunate circumstances, we need to look to the future, and to what it holds for British haxball.

First up, I'd like to thank every member of the current UK squad that turned up to any of the 3 games, and sorry to those that didn't get any or much game time. Every player that made an appearance for UK did us proud, and represented their country in a mature and appropriate manner.

Secondly, the squad changes. After a chat with Griffin, we have decided to implement a "Team A" and "Team B" structure. Team A won't change at all until Me and Griffin feel that a player deserves to take someone's place, changes can also be made due to retirements, etc. Team B will change regularly, players will be cut due to inactivity, poor attitude, lack of input/effort.

Moving onto the actual squad's, they are as follows:

NB: Team Owner cannot play for the national team, therefore I have the same job as before, except I cannot play, which frees up a place in the squad for another player. Griffin comes in as Team Manager, to help us with strategies and tactics, etc.

These places were chosen as stated before, activity and attitude. Squad places in future will be reviewed based on these two aspects, including input in discussing strategies and post-game reviews, etc.

The National Team forum will remain private, however the community will be able to discuss the team in a sub-forum, the Reserve team will have it's own public forums.

If any players in either team will be retiring or do not wish to play, however you must provide a valid reason for if you do not wish to play (@TT - giving others a chance isn't a reason Mad

).

Rage, praise, whatever you like, discuss.

I think I can share my intelligence with Griffin and construct very efficient tactics that will help us with in the game. I'm actually not fucking trolling here. I should be some sort of Management staff, don't really wana play, but I think I have a lot of tactics etc to contribute towards the squad.

I think it's appreciated by many on the site, the time & effort you've put in to organize things on this side - to say nothing of some very creditable results along the way. From a personal point of view, to see my own name alongside all those great players & friends here - well it's pretty special & i'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from them...

Structure: National teams can only have 1 team owner, 1 team manager and 1 team captain. Team owners should only be admins from the national section who own the national team, they are usually not allowed to play.

@Redboy: Bad luck because with a full team out vs Spain we probably would have gone through, we didn't deserve the 6-2 defeat. Only after that did we get organised and sort ourselves out.
